What’s the REI Credit Card Credit Score Requirement?

To qualify for the REI Credit Card, you must have a credit score of 700 or higher. With a score of 700 or higher, your chances of approval are good.

You need good or excellent credit to pass the bar. If your credit score falls in the fair or poor ranges, then the odds are not likely in your favor for this card. While a 700 credit score isn’t extremely hard to reach, it does mean borrowers with less-than-ideal financial histories probably will not make it.

But, your credit score isn’t the only detail the card issuer reviews. Aspects like your income, current personal debts, number of credit accounts, any credit inquiries, job situation, and housing also play roles. If some areas of your profile counterbalance a lower score, approval may still be possible in select cases.

A score below 700 may result in rejection if the rest of your financial credentials are not impeccable. Building up insufficient scores takes time and patience.

You can verify your latest score and address any errors boosting it before completing an REI Credit Card application. Meeting the score requirement head-on gives you the green light. So monitor your credit, dispute mistakes with bureaus, and control debts wisely until your score hits the approval range.
